Regenerative Aesthetics in Scottsdale
As technology is moving forward at an increasing rate, people are looking for alternatives to surgery. The aesthetic world is too! Regenerative aesthetics uses the innate power of your own body to heal and reduce the signs of aging. Growth factors, PRP, Exosome and Stem Cell Therapy are these powerful tools.
While injectable HA fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm give us an instant fix, other tools work over time to rebuild your collagen and elastin, the structural proteins that make your face tight, glowing, and youthful.

Sculptra - Collagen Biostimulants
Sculptra Aesthetics is classified as a long-lasting filler. This is our biostimulant of choice. Composed of PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic-Acid), this injectable is placed underneath the skin to the deep fat pads and ligaments in the face that sag as we age. Over the course of 4-6 weeks, the PLLA stimulates fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen, to grow and produce the structural proteins. The result is facial re-volumization. Areas of facial treatment are temple, cheeks, and the jawline. Other areas that are growing in popularity are the upper arms, decollete, knees, and buttocks.
PRP - Platelet Rich Plasma
Platelets are a very popular and trending treatment in both aesthetics and orthopedic medicine. Concentrated growth factors from your own blood are concentrated into PRP and applied to the skin after microneedling, laser, and plasma pen treatments. Studies have repeatedly shown the increased value in adding Platelet Rich Plasma to another treatment stack. This increases the healing effect producing more collagen.
Stem Cell Exosomes
The world of stem cells is here and thriving! Stem cells are the most important healing tool that we have. Here’s how it works- when an injury is recognized, the stem cells come to the rescue and deliver powerful signals called Exosome and growth factors to turn the cells healing system on. We can deliver a specific dosage of these exosome directly to a microneedling or laser treatment where there is inflammation and the healing process is magnified significantly.
Dysport and Dermal Fillers
Are people asking if you are tired or not feeling well? Have you noticed you are not looking as young as you used to? Maybe you’re starting to notice a few wrinkles, or you’ve lost some of the fullness of your youth?
As we age and are exposed to the sun, the face and body lose important components such as collagen and hyaluronic acid. Volume in the cheeks and around the mouth decreases. In addition, facial
Dysport softens expressions, preventing wrinkles from forming in younger patients and treating wrinkles in older patients. Dermal Fillers add volume underneath the skin giving the cheekbones a lift and providing youthful results.
Our aesthetic injections specialists are artists when it comes to Dysport and Dermal Fillers. We always customize treatments for both men and women to help you uncover your most radiant self. Our specialists have worked side by side with some of the top plastic surgeons and doctors, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in aesthetic injectables.
Dysport® is an FDA-approved protein that temporarily smooths lines caused by repeated contractions from frowning and squinting. Skin in treated areas appears dramatically smoother and lines diminish in 3 to 10 days. It also prevents future permanent wrinkles. Results typically last 3 to 4 months.
Clients tolerate this treatment very well and describe it as being quick and painless, with no discomfort. Dysport® is one of the safest treatments when administered by a trained medical professional. Prior to your Dysport treatment, we will assess your risk for any side effects.
What’s the difference between Dysport and Botox and Xeomin?
The main difference is the company name. These are all botulinum toxin that is delivered in a freeze dried form. Once reconstituted in bacteriostatic saline, these proteins are injected into a muscle, disrupting the way the nerve communicates with the muscle thereby decreasing the movement and the wrinkles it creates.
Units – the biggest confusion about neurotoxins
Let’s get this out of the way: 1 unit of measurement is different just like an inch vs a centimeter.
1 unit of Botox = 2.5 units of Dysport
For a typical brow 20 units Botox is equivalent to 50 units Dysport.
We use dysport because the effects last longer typically than Botox and the spread across the forehead is much smoother.
Dermal fillers are made from HA or hyaluronic acid, a long-chain sugar molecule that naturally exists in our body. Restylane and Juvederm are the most popular brands of HA fillers in the US that helps to diminish facial aging lines and restore facial volume. Dermal Fillers are ideal for wrinkles and deep fold lines that are visible when the face is relaxed and making no expression. Fillers can instantly smooth out these lined areas.
Restylane Lyft – the most structurally supporting filler on the market, ideal for cheekbones and midface volume
Restylane Defyne – ideal for deep nasolabial fold, lips and lower face where there is naturally more movement and facial expression
Restylane Refyne – this is the lightest and most stretchable of all the HA fillers and is used for thin skin types for fine lines
Restylane Silk – a medium strength structural support filler for lips and nasolabial folds.
HOW LONG DO FILLERS LAST?
A very common question is how long fillers last. Typically these products can last anywhere from 6 months to a year. We do not recommend waiting for a filler to go away completely before topping off. Your first treatment will determine your body’s ability hold a filler as individual metabolisms can speed up the breakdown of the product used.
